Just 20min from Palm Springs and 50min to Joshua Tree. Remodeled kitchen, bathrooms. Outdoor fire pit and bbq for family entertainment. Fully gated large space for parking multiple vehicles. Above ground pool is 18ftx4ft deep and it’s available for summer season only. Pool is available April to October. Occupancy: This is a 2 bedroom house with two beds & one futon sofa.

Good to know

This is a 2-bedroom home. Sleeping arrangements are as follows: -Two King size beds -One Futon Sofa --Pet Policy-- We allow up to 2 dogs in unit. Upon departure, clean up dog hair to the best of your ability. The cost of additional cleaning or laundering services due to excessive dog hair will be billed to the guest. Promptly bag and dispose of all dog waste from the yard during your stay and at time of departure. We request all dogs be up to date on vaccinations as required by state law. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. Bring your dog’s favorite blanket or bed. Bring a pet crate and use whenever you must leave your dog unattended for a period of time. Never leave your dog unattended if it barks or chews when left alone.

Other Details to Note

Above ground pool is 18ftx4ft deep and it’s available from March to October. Pool is taken down in November.

Please become familiar with the area. Desert Hot Springs is NOT Palm Springs. Read full neighborhood description prior to booking. 1. No Smoking of any kind allowed inside our apartment. 2. Doors and windows must be locked at all times when you leave the unit. 3. Although we allow children, our home is not child-proofed and we do not provide cribs. 4. Registered guest only. No visitors, parties, gatherings allowed. 5. Units should not be used for commercial purposes like using kitchen for catering events or using the property for photoshoots. 6. Do not leave dogs unattended. 7. No early check ins or late check outs will be granted.

Neighborhood

Our location: Desert Hot Springs is a small no-frills kind of town, but in recent years it has been undergoing lots of improvements and beautification projects. Not to mention it is world renowned for its wonderful spas and mineral water. The neighborhood has a mixed crowd.

We had a great time at Karen’s! The house is super unique and cool, and had tons of space. Each bedroom was bigger than we expected, and the living room and kitchen were open and full of natural light. It was a bit too cold to go in the pool, but it looked clean and would probably be very welcome during the summer months. Karen was very friendly and prompt in her responses as well. Highly recommend! I would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at many Airbnbs and this was the most architecturally interesting. Such a cool house and the layout and the whole experience was so visually appealing. They perfectly nailed the Modern California desert vibe. My family of 5 stayed for a few nights and had plenty of space to spread out and 2 full bathrooms. The bedrooms are massive and I appreciate a king-sized bed when we travel. There was also a couch the folded down in one bedroom and additional air mattresses if needed. The location was quiet and we were nearby grocery stores and other amenities. The kitchen was pretty minimally stocked and we would have benefited from a few more items, as we cooked often at the house. But it was great to use the gas grill and outdoor fire pit for cooking and hanging out. I should have paid more attention to the fact that the pool is only available in May-October, but maybe we can return for the warmer weather. I would gladly stay here again. Fully recommend for a unique desert stay!
